ADMINISTRATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF DONATED PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS OF GIFTS, BEQUESTS OR OTHER DEVISES. FOUNDATION FUNDS ARE USED TO PROVIDE GRANTS, SCHOLARSHIPS TO AREA STUDENTS ANDENHANCE AND SUPPORT THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE AREA. AS A RESUL OF A NATIONAL SETTLEMENT, THE ILLINOIS ATTORNEY GENERAL AWARDED A GRANT, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH JOSEPH CORPORATION, FOX VALLEY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY AND HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF NORTHERN FOX VALLEY, KANE COUNTY OFFICE OF COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT, AND NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSING SERVICES OF CHICAGO TO SUPPORT A GEOGRAPHICALLY-TARGETED EFFORT TO REDEVELOP AND STABILIZE PRIORITY NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCKS IN VARIOUS COMMUNITIES ALONG THE FOX RIVER VALLEY FROM FORECLOSURES AND VACANT PROPERTIES.
