EVANGELISM, CHURCH PLANTING, RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT - WE CONTINUE THE HOLISTIC WORK OF JESUS THROUGH DISCIPLE-MAKING, COMPASSION, RELIEF, AND DEVELOPMENT. WE ARE COMMITTED TO BRINGING HOPE, DIGNITY, AND WHOLENESS TO COMMUNITIES THAT HAVE BEEN NEGATIVELY IMPACTED BY ECONOMIC, PHYSICAL, AND SPIRITUAL OPPRESSION. WE BRING LOCAL AND OUTSIDE RESOURCES TOGETHER TO CREATE PARTNERSHIPS THAT SERVE AND STRENGTHEN OPPRESSED COMMUNITIES. OUR PRIMARY PURPOSE IS THAT NO ONE WOULD BE INVISIBLE AND EVERYONE WOULD HAVE ACCESS TO FOOD, FREEDOM, AND FORGIVENESS.
AWARENESS AND EDUCATION - WE PARTNER WITH CHURCHES, BUSINESSES AND SCHOOLS TO BRING HUMAN AND FINANCIAL RESOURCES TOGETHER ON BEHALF OF THE OPPRESSED. PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDE RAISING AWARENESS OF THE NEEDS OF OPPRESSED PEOPLE GLOBALLY AND PROVIDING EDUCATION AND GUIDANCE AS TO HOW THESE NEEDS CAN BE ADDRESSED AND ALLEVIATED THROUGH ACTIVE AND INTENTIONAL INVOLVEMENT.
TRAINING, SENDING AND SUPERVISING OF WORKERS - WE RETAIN EXPERIENCED WORKERS, LANGUAGE EXPERTS AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS TO TRAIN NEW WORKERS. TRAINING IS PROVIDED THROUGH A COMBINATION OF DISTANCE AND RESIDENCE EDUCATION CONDUCTED AT OUR ELGIN, ILLINOIS CAMPUS. ONCE WORKERS ARE PREPARED FOR SERVICE THEY ARE SENT TO JOIN TEAMS IN FIELD LOCATIONS AROUND THE WORLD. WHILE THEY ARE SERVING IN THE FIELD, WE SUPERVISE ALL ACTIVITIES AND PROVIDE ADMINISTRATIVE AND ORGANIZATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE THAT ENABLES THEM TO REMAIN IN THE FIELD.
