OUR MISSION IS TO HAVE EVERY HOMELESS VETERAN GAIN BACK THEIR PRIDE AND DIGNITY SO THAT THEY CAN RETURN TO SOCIETY AS A SELF-SUFFICIENT AND PRODUCTIVE MEMBER ONCE AGAIN.

PROJECT VETERANS PRIDE PVP IS A NON-PROFIT 501C3 ORGANIZATION FOUNDED BY MILITARY VETERANS IN AUGUST 2011 TO ADDRESS THE DEVASTATING INCIDENCE OF HOMELESSNESS AMONG MEN AND WOMEN WHO RISKED THEIR LIVES FOR THIS NATION. WHEN ALL OF THE VETERANS RESIDING IN THE JAMES WALTON HOME WERE PLACED IN PRIVATE RESIDIENCES, THE ORGANIZATION CEASED OPERATIONS, SOLD THE HOME AND ITS CONTENTS, AND DISTRIBUTED THE NET PROCEEDS AND REMAINING ASSETS TO OTHER 501C3 ORGANIZATIONS IN ARIZONA PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO VETERANS.

PVP IS A MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL COALITION FOR HOMELESS VETERANS NCHV AND HAS THE SUPPORT OF THE PHOENIX VA HEALTHCARES HOMELESS OUTREACH PROGRAM AND PARTNERS WITH COMMUNITY CRISIS TEAMS, SHELTERS AND FAITH-BASED ORGANIZATIONS IN THE VALLEY. PVPS JAMES WALTON HOME JWH PROGRAM PROVIDES TRANSITIONAL, RAPID EMERGENT HOUSING FOR TWENTY 20 MALE HOMELESS VETERANS SEEKING GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT AND PERMANENT HOUSING. THE 30/60/90 DAY PROGRAM FOCUSES ON HEALTHY LIFESTYLE MANAGEMENT POLICIES AND THE HOME-LIKE ENVIRONMENT PROMOTES A CULTURE WHICH SUPPORTS LIFELONG HEALTHY HABITS.
