WE DIRECT SUPPORT TO SOME OF THE MOST EFFECTIVE ORGANIZATIONS THAT HELP ANIMALS BY CONDUCTING COMPREHENSIVE CHARITY REVIEWS TO INFORM KEY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OUR DONORS AND MAKING GRANTS TO PROMISING ORGANIZATIONS ACROSS THE GLOBE.

FUNDRAISING FOR SUPPORTED CHARITIES: IN 2022, WE CONTINUED TO ENCOURAGE DONATIONS TO OUR RECOMMENDED CHARITIES AND GRANT RECIPIENTS. BETWEEN JANUARY 1 - MARCH 31, 2022, WE RAISED OVER HALF A MILLION DOLLARS FOR OUR EFFECTIVE TOP CHARITIES AND STANDOUT CHARITIES, PLUS MORE THAN $1.1M FOR OUR RECOMMENDED CHARITY FUND. ADDITIONALLY, WE RAISED OVER $72,000 FOR OUR MOVEMENT GRANTS PROGRAM TO SUPPORT PROMISING ANIMAL ADVOCACY PROJECTS AROUND THE GLOBE.
RESEARCH & RECOMMENDATIONS: WE COMPLETED A HIRING ROUND FOR THE MOVEMENT GRANTS PROGRAM MANAGER ROLE, AND STARTED HIRING ROUNDS FOR A DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH AND FOR AN EVALUATIONS PROGRAM MANAGER. WE RECEIVED 165 APPLICATIONS FOR OUR MOVEMENT GRANTS PROGRAM, AND STARTED REVIEWING THOSE APPLICATIONS. WE COMPLETED UPDATES TO SOME OF OUR KEY RESEARCH WEBPAGES, AND STARTED CONVERTING OUR RESEARCH REPORTS INTO PDF FORMAT. WE DEVELOPED A DECISION-MAKING FRAMEWORK ALONG WITH GUIDELINES TO ASSIST CHARITIES IN THEIR DECISION MAKING. WE COMPLETED A PROJECT PLAN FOR OUR 2022 CHARITY EVALUATIONS PROJECT.
EDUCATION & ADVOCACY: BETWEEN JANUARY 1 AND MARCH 31, 2022, WE ASSISTED IN THE PROMOTION OF NEW POSITIONS AVAILABLE AT ACE. WE COLLABORATED WITH OUR RESEARCH TEAM TO UPDATE KEY RESEARCH WEBPAGES AND REORGANIZED OUR WEBSITE MENU AS A RESULT OF IT. WE LAUNCHED A NEW "MENU OF OUTCOMES" BLOG SERIES ON THE WEBSITE.
