THE ORGANIZATION FOCUSES ON DEEP POLITICAL EDUCATION AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT OF GRASSROOTS LEADERS OF OUR MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS, AS WELL AS KEY ALLY ORGANIZATIONS. WE RAN LEADERSHIP ACADEMIES IN CHICAGO AND PEORIA, ON RACIAL AND ECONOMIC JUSTICE. THE ORGANIZATION'S MAIN CAMPAIGNS IN 2020 INCLUDED: THE GREEN NEW DEAL AND REIMAGINE CHICAGO, WHICH FOCUSED ON PASSING A PUBLIC POLICY TO ADDRESS CLIMATE CHANGE AND DIVESTING FROM POLICING TO FUND THE SERVICES AND SCHOOLS WE NEED AT THE LOCAL AND STATE LEVEL.
