IN 2022, THE GREAT PLAINS HEALTH CARE FOUNDATION RECEIVED SUPPORT FROM DONORS FOR SEVERAL FUNDS THAT ENHANCE THE PATIENT EXPERIENCE. OF THE AMOUNT THAT WAS RAISED, APPROXIMATELY HALF WAS RAISED FOR EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY. IT IS FROM THIS AMOUNT THAT THE FOUNDATION GAVE MONEY TO THE HOSPITAL TO PURCHASE A 3D TOMOSYNTHESIS MAMMOGRAM MACHINE. IN ADDITION TO THE EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY FUNDS, DOLLARS CAME IN FOR THE CALLAHAN CANCER CENTER FUNDS WHICH IS USED TO SUPPORT PATIENTS GOING THROUGH THEIR CANCER JOURNEY. AMOUNTS WERE ALSO COLLECTED FOR THE ER PROJECT, FOR GREATEST NEEDS AND HOSPICE.THE HERO CLUB, WHICH IS THE EMPLOYEE GIVING GROUP OF THE FOUNDATION RAISED MONEY TO GO TOWARDS VARIOUS SMALLER PROJECTS IN THE HOSPITAL.
