THE LA GRANGE BUSINESS ASSOCIATION IS AN ORGANIZATION INCORPORATED UNDER THE LAWS OF ILLINOIS TO ENHANCE THE BUSINESS CLIMATE AND PROMOTE AND STIMULATE ORDERLY GROWTH FOR BUSINESSES LOCATED IN LA GRANGE. AS A BUSINESS ADVOCATE, THE LGBA PROMOTES BUSINESS IN LA GRANGE BY WORKING WITH THE WEST SUBURBAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND OTHER LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS. THE LGBA IS ALSO THE VOICE OF LA GRANGE BUSINESSES TO THE VILLAGE OF LA GRANGE AND OTHER GOVERNMENT BODIES. SPECIFIC ISSUES WORKED ON BY THE LGBA INCLUDE SPONSORING LOCAL CABLE ADVERTISING, FACADE LOANS, TAX INCREMENT FINANCING, PARKING REGULATIONS, STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS, CANDIDATE NIGHTS, SIGN ORDINANCES, AND GENERAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT.
