SINCE 1985, LYNN SAGE CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION HAS FUNDED MORE THAN $36 MILLION TO SUPPORT DETECTION, TREATMENT, EDUCATION AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES AT NORTHWESTERN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AND ROBERT H. LURIE COMPREHENSIVE CANCER CENTER OF NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY. LSCRF AWARDS SEED FUNDING GRANTS FOR NOVEL RESEARCH THAT DEMONSTRATES THE POTENTIAL TO IMPROVE THE DETECTION AND TREATMENT OF BREAST CANCER. SIMILARLY, LSCRF FUNDS FELLOWSHIPS AT NORTHWESTERN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN THE AREAS OF BREAST SURGERY, IMAGING, ONCOLOGY, AND PATHOLOGY, ENSURING THERE ARE MORE PHYSICIANS WITH SPECIALIZED TRAINING IN THE TREATMENT OF BREAST CANCER.
