EDUCATION - THE KIDNEY CANCER ASSOCIATION PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR PHYSICIANS, RESEARCHERS, ACADEMICS, AND INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE TO COME TOGETHER AND EXCHANGE IDEAS THAT WILL DIRECT THE FUTURE OF KIDNEY CANCER RESEARCH AND TREATMENT IN THE ULTIMATE PURSUIT OF A CURE. THE PRIMARY OPPORTUNITIES ARE DURING THE TWO ANNUAL SYMPOSIA, IKCS NORTH AMERICA AND IKCS EUROPE, HELD BOTH IN PERSON. IKCS MEETINGS PROMOTE LEARNING, NETWORKING, AND UNPARALLELED OPPORTUNITIES FOR MENTORSHIP AND COLLABORATION.
PATIENT SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY - THE KIDNEY CANCER ASSOCIATION SEEKS TO BE A SOURCE OF EDUCATION AND RESOURCES FOR PATIENTS, CAREGIVERS, AND ANYONE IMPACTED BY KIDNEY CANCER. THE KCA PROVIDES PATIENT RESOURCES FOR EACH STAGE OF THE KIDNEY CANCER JOURNEY INCLUDING OUR JUST DIAGNOSED TOOLKIT, PATIENT NAVIGATOR PROGRAM, VIRTUAL PATIENT SYMPOSIUM, KCA CONNECT, PATIENT ASSISTANCE FUND, AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES INCLUDING INFORMATION ON TREATMENTS, DRUGS, CLINICAL TRIALS, AND CAREGIVING TO NAME A FEW.
