THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES TRAINING IN HAZARD COMMUNICATION, EXCAVATION SAFETY, SILICA HAZARD AWARENESS, AND RESPIRATORY PROTECTION. HAZARD COMMUNICATION IS A 4 HOUR REVIEW OF OSHA'S HAZARD COMMUNICATION STANDARD GHS - GLOBALLY HARMONIZED SYSTEM OF CLASSIFICATION & LABELING OF CHEMICALS. WORKERS LEARN HOW TO FIND INFORMATION ON AND PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM CHEMICALS THAT THEY WORK WITH. EXCAVATION SAFETY IS A 4 HOUR OSHA COMPLIANT EXCAVATION HAZARD AWARENESS TRAINING THAT ADDRESSES INFORMATION ON SAFETY REQUIREMENTS, CONCERNS AND PRECAUTIONS WHEN WORKING IN AND AROUND ANY MAN-MADE CUT, CAVITY, TRENCH, OR DEPRESSION IN AN EARTH SURFACE, FORMED BY EARTH REMOVAL PARTICIPANTS LEARN TO CONDUCT INSPECTIONS AND CLASSIFY SOIL THROUGH BOTH VISUAL AND MANUAL TESTING. SILICA HAZARD AWARENESS IS A 2 HOUR CLASS THAT REVIEWS THE OSHA SILICA STANDARD AND HOW IT APPLIES IN THE WORKPLACE. RESPIRATORY PROTECTION IS A 2 HOUR CLASS THAT COVERS TESTING, FITTING, VOLUNTARY USE, AND CLEANING OF RESPIRATORS.
