THE PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO IMPROVE, SERVE AND HELP THE COMMUNITY OF INVERNESS, ILLINOIS AND THE PROPERTY AND PERSONS THEREIN. THE FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION, THE NEWCOMERS FUNCTION, THE CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES, AND THE COMMUNITY DIRECTORY, ALL SERVE THE CULTURAL, SOCIAL, SAFETY, AND RECREATIONAL INTERESTS OF THE COMMUNITY. THIS IS IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ORGANIZATION'S EXEMPT PURPOSE.
