OUTFRONT'S MISSION IS TO CREATE A STATE WHERE LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL, TRANSGENDER AND QUEER (LGBTQ) PEOPLE ARE FREE TO BE WHO THEY ARE, LOVE WHO THEY LOVE, AND LIVE WITHOUT FEAR OF VIOLENCE, HARASSMENT OR DISCRIMINATION. IN OUR EFFORT TO MAKE OUR STATE A PLACE WHERE ALL PEOPLE ARE VALUED, WE ENGAGE IN COMMUNITY EDUCATION, ORGANIZING, ANTI-VIOLENCE AND LEGAL SERVICES AND POLICY ADVOCACY. THE OVERALL GOALS OF OUR WORK ARE TO: (1) STRENGTHEN THE MOVEMENT FOR LGBTQ EQUITY; (2) DEVELOP LEADERS WHO CAN ORGANIZE OTHERS TO WORK TOWARD LGBTQ LIBERATION; (3) WIN OVER THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF MINNESOTANS.

OUTFRONT MINNESOTA'S ANTI-VIOLENCE PROGRAM PROVIDED CRISIS INTERVENTION SERVCIES, LEGAL ASSISTANCE AND ADVOCACY SERVICES TO OVER 900 SURVIVORS OF ANTI-LGBTQ BIAS/HATE VIOLENCE, RELATIONSHIP ABUSE, AND SEXUAL ASSAULT. OUR ANTI-VIOLENCE PROGRAM STAFF TRAINED 1916 PEOPLE ON ADVANCING LGBTQ INCLUSION WITHIN THEIR WORKPLACE AND SERVICES. OUTFRONT MINNESOTA WORKS TO MAKE OUR SCHOOLS SAFE AND AFFIRMING FOR LGBTQ STUDENTS AND PROVIDE LEADERSHIP SUPPORT AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH STATEWIDE. OUR YOUTH AND SCHOOLS PROGRAM IS LED BY OUR YOUTH LEADERSHIP COUNCIL COMPRISED OF 15 YOUTH FROM AROUND THE STATE WHO MEET TWICE A MONTH. THEY HELP PROVIDE GUIDANCE FOR OUR WORK WITH THE GENDER SEXUALITY ALLIANCES.
