THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS AN ANNUAL FOOT RACE. FUNDS RAISED ARE PRIMARILY FOR THE BENEFIT OF VARIOUS CHARITIES THAT PROVIDE FOOD, SHELTER AND ASSISTANCE TO THE NEEDY. THOSE FUNDS WERE PROVIDED FOR DUPAGE PADS, UNITED COMMUNITY CONCERNS, LOAVES AND FISHES PANTRY, WEST SUBURBAN COMMUNITY PANTRY, PEOPLES RESOURCE CENTER, CATHOLIC CHARITIES, AND LESSER AMOUNTS TO SEVERAL OTHER LOCAL CHARITIES. IN 2017 THE ORGANIZATION STARTED A PROGRAM CALLED CAFE LIBERTY TO TRAIN UNEMPLOYED VETERANS IN CULINARY SKILLS AND PROVIDE CATERING SERVICES.
