PURSUE SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND HIGH STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE IN THE FIELD OF SPINAL DISORDERS.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

THE ORGANIZATION HOSTS AN ANNUAL MEETING, ATTENDED BY OVER 6,000, PROVIDING HIGH-QUALITY CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION FOR MEMBERS INCLUDING EXCELLENCE IN PATIENT CARE AND CLINCIAL PRACTICE. A TRADE SHOW WHERE EXHIBITORS DISPLAY AND DEMONSTRATE THE LATEST IN TECHNOLOGY IN THE FIELD OF SPINAL DISORDERS ACCOMPANIES THE ANNUAL MEETING.


OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDE RESEARCH, MEMBER SERVICES, AND SPINE DISORDER ADVOCACY. FUNDS ARE GRANTED FOR RESEARCH IN SURGICAL AND NON-OPERATIVE TREATMENTS FOR SPINE DISORDERS, AND FOR SPINE CARE EDUCATION AND AWARENESS PROGRAMS.


THE ORGANIZATION PUBLISHES MAGAZINES AND OTHER MATERIALS INTENDED TO EDUCATE PATIENTS ON SPINAL DISORDERS AND SPINE HEALTH. SPINE RESEARCH AND SPINE HEALTH PERIODICALS ARE PUBLISHED FOR MEMBERS.


THROUGH SPINE EDUCATION AND RESOURCE CENTER, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, INCLUDING HANDS ON COURSEWORK, AND CLASSES DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE AMONG PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD OF SPINAL DISORDERS.
