SMALL ACCESSIBLE REPAIRS FOR SENIORS: UNO PARTICIPATES IN THE SMALL ACCISSIBLE REPAIRS FOR SENIORS PROGRAM (SARFS). THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES SAFETY, SECURITY AND ACCESSIBILITY FOR LOW INCOME SENIORS. HOME IMPROVEMENTS ARE AT NO COST AND ENABLES SENIOR CITIZENS TO REMAIN IN THEIR HOMES.COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAMS: UNO PROVIDES JANITORIAL AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES. THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF WORKERS AS WELL AS THE ACCOMPANYING COMMUNITY'S BUSINESSES. LEADERSHIP TRAINING: UNO HAS ALWAYS CREATED NEW AVENUES OF PUBLIC LEADERSHIP; ENGAGING LATINOS TOWARD CIVIC ACTION. THE METROPOLITAN LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (MLO) AND CORPORATE LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (CLI) CREATED AND MANAGED BY UNO PROVIDES INDIVIDUALS WITH A GREATER APPRECIATION FOR AMBIGUITIES AND NUANCES OF THE PUBLIC ARENA AND THE CHALLENGES OF PUBLIC LIFE.
