ALEXIAN BROTHERS HEALTH SYSTEM (ABHS) IS A MEMBER OF AMITA HEALTH, WHICH IS A JOINT OPERATING COMPANY FORMED BY ASCENSION HEALTH AND ADVENTIST HEALTH SYSTEM SUNBELT HEALTHCARE CORPORATION. AMITA HEALTH WELCOMED PRESENCE HEALTH TO THE ORGANIZATION IN MARCH 2018, MAKING AMITA HEALTH THE LARGEST HEALTH SYSTEM IN ILLINOIS. THROUGH ITS MEMBERS, AMITA HEALTH HAS OVER 22,000 ASSOCIATES COMMITTED TO DELIVERING THE MOST EFFICIENT, HIGHEST QUALITY, FAITH-BASED CARE AT 19 ACUTE AND SPECIALTY CARE HOSPITALS AND AT MORE THAN 200 AMBULATORY/CLINIC LOCATIONS.
