AUGUSTINE COLLEGE IS AN INDEPENDENT, BILINGUAL INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION CREATED UNDER THE EPISCOPAL DIOCESE TO MAKE THE AMERICAN SYSTEM OF HIGHER EDUCATION ACCESSIBLE TO A DIVERSE STUDENT POPULATION WITH EMPHASIS ON THOSE OF HISPANIC DESCENT, TO STRENGTHEN ETHNIC IDENTITY, TO REINFORCE CULTURAL INTERACTION, AND TO BUILD A BRIDGE TO FILL CULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL, AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC GAPS

INSTRUCTION-PROVIDE A FORMAL EDUCATIONAL CURRICULUM IN SEVERAL ACADEMIC DISCIPLINES AND INCLUDES ACTIVITIES THAT ARE PART OF THE ORGANIZATION'S INSTRUCTION DEPARTMENTS, INCLUDING THOSE FOR CREDIT AND NONCREDIT COURSES,ACADEMIC AND TECHNICAL INSTRUCTION. ST.AUGUSTINE COLLEGE IS A FULLY ACCREDITED NOT-FOR-PROFIT PRIVATE COLLEGE THAT AWARDS BACHELOR OF ARTS,BACHELOR OF SCIENCE,ASSOCIATE OF ARTS,AND ASSOCIATE OF APPLIED SCIENCE DEGREES.UNDERGRADUATE CLASSES ARE PROVIDED FOR STUDENTS SEEKING TO OBTAIN A COLLEGE DEGREE.STUDENT SERVICES-PROVIDES A VARIETY OF SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO THE STUENT BODY, INCLUDING THE EXPENSES OF ADMISSIONS,REGISTRAR,FINANCIAL AID,ADVISING/TUTORING,AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OUTSIDE OF FORMAL INSTRUCTION.ACADEMIC SUPPORT & OTHER SERVICES-INCLUDES THE EXPENSES/ACTIVITIES FOR ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION AND COMPUTING SUPPORT.THE LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER AND OUR VARIOUS LOCATIONS THAT SUPPORT STUDENTS' EDUCATIONAL NEEDS OUTSIDE OF DIRECT INSTRUCTION.WORKFORCE TRAINING AND ADULT EDUCATION-THE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT PROVIDES DUAL LANGUAGE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES IN ILLINOIS TO ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS.IT ALSO PROVIDES ADULT EDUCATION FOR INDIVIDUALS TO OBTAIN THEIR GED.
