THE GREENRISE BUILDING NON-PROFIT SERVICE CENTER ENABLES MULTIPLE NON-PROFIT AGENCIES TO PROVIDE MEDICAL, MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT AND HOMELESS SERVICES TO THE UPTOWN CHICAGO NEIGHBORHOOD'S DIVERSE POPULATION. THE GREENRISE BUILDING ALSO HOUSES SEVERAL CHURCHES.
ECUMENICAL INSTITUTE HAS CREATED INTENTIONAL COMMUNITIES MADE UP OF INDIVIDUALS WHO WANT TO LIVE SIMPLY AND ARE COMMITTED TO A GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE. INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY IS AN INCLUSIVE TERM FOR ECO VILLAGES, COHOUSING COMMUNITIES, COOPERATIVE LIVING, AND OTHER PROJECTS WHERE PEOPLE STRIVE TOGETHER WITH A COMMON VISION.
THE CONFERENCE CENTER AIDS NON-PROFITS IN FURTHERING THEIR CAUSES BY PROVIDING LODGING AND MEETING SPACE FOR GROUPS TRAVELING TO CHICAGO TO FURTHER THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION.
