DEVELOPMENTAL TRAINING A SPECIALIZED SERVICE GEARED TOWARD PROVIDING WORK AND ACTIVITIES FOR A POPULATION WHO ARE SEVERELY AND MULTIPLE HANDICAPPED AND AN AGING POPULATION WHO ARE UNABLE TO FUNCTION IN WORK SERVICES. THE GOAL IS TO PROVIDE INDIVIDUALS WITH TRAINING IN DAILY LIVING SKILLS, BASIC WORK SKILLS, SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL SKILLS SO THAT THEY BECOME AS INDEPENDENT AS POSSIBLE.
SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT A PLACE-TRAIN MODEL WHEREBY PERSONS ARE PLACED ON COMMUNITY JOBS AND JOB COACHES PROVIDE ON-THE-JOB TRAINING AND DEVELOP OTHER SUPPORT NECESSARY TO ASSURE THE CLIENT MAINTAINS SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT.
COMMUNITY INTERGRATED LIVING ARRANGEMENT THIS PROVIDES AROUND THE CLOCK SUPERVISION IN A GROUP HOME SETTING FOR PEOPLE WITH MORE SEVERE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. TRAINING IS PROVIDED TO RESIDENTS IN THE SAME AREAS AS COMMUNITY INTERGRATED LIVING AGREEMENT - INTERMITTENT BUT ON A MORE INTENSE LEVEL
CLIENT AND FAMILY SUPPORT TO HELP INDIVIDUALS DEVELOP RECREATIONAL AND SOCIAL SKILLS SO THAT THEY MAY USE THEIR LEISURE TIME MORE ENJOYABLY AND INDEPENDENTLY.
