A CHRIST CENTERED/ NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION WHICH COORDINATES RESOURCES AND SERVICES TO MEET THE NEEDS OF OUR NEIGHBORS IN TITUS COUNTY AND TO PROVIDE FOOD AND PROMOTE LITERACY TO FAMILIES IN NEED WITH EFFORTS TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH GOD.

TITUS COUNTY CARES PROVIDES FOOD, BACKPACKS (WEEKEND FOOD FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN), CLOTHING, SHOES, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, BOOKS, TOYS & GIFTS FOR BIRTHDAYS/HOLIDAYS TO NEEDY CHILDREN AND UTILITIES ASSISTANCE FOR NEEDY FAMILIES IN TITUS COUNTY. THE FOOD PANTRY SERVED 650 FAMILIES MONTHLY. EACH WEEK 1,600 CHILDREN RECEIVED A BAG OF CHILD-FRIENDLY FOOD FOR NOURISHMENT OVER THE WEEKEND DURING SCHOOL. NORMALLY AT END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR STUDENTS (KINDERGARTEN THRU 4TH GRADE) RECEIVED TWO NEW BOOKS TO READ OVER THE SUMMER.THE SUMMER FEEDING PROGRAM DID NOT OCCUR AGAIN THIS SUMMER 2021 DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS AND LACK OF A LOCATION TO PROVIDE THE PROGRAM.NOTE: THE REVENUE SHOWN ABOVE WAS GENERATED AS NET INCOME FROM FUNDRAISING EVENTS (PART VIII, LINE 8C) AND CONTRIBUTIONS, GIFTS AND GRANTS RECEIVED AS SHOWN IN PART VIII, LINE 1F (STATEMENT OF REVENUE)
