BASEBALL PROGRAMS:OVER 200 PLAYERS FROM AGES 10-18 PARTICIPATED IN THE ST. LOUIS GAMERS BASEBALL PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM INCLUDES COMPREHENSIVE BASEBALL INSTRUCTION, HIGH LEVEL COMPETITION AND A COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM TO TEACH LIFE LESSONS THROUGH BASEBALL.YOUNG MEN ARE TAUGHT THE MEANING OF HARD WORK, COMMITMENT, RESPONSIBILITY, AND BEING PART OF A TEAM THROUGH THE FOLLOWING EVENTS:24 WINTER PRACTICE SESSIONS, CLINICS, 32 PRACTICE SESSIONS, AND APPROXIMATELY 70 COMPETITIVE GAMES AT EACH AGE GROUP. THE PROGRAM HAD A POSITIVE IMPACT, BOTH ON THE FIELD AND OFF THE FIELD. 80% OF THE 2014 PARTICIPANTS HAVE RE-ENROLLED IN THE PROGRAM FOR 2015. OVER 90% OF THE GRADUATING PLAYERS (HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS) GO ON TO BE A STUDENT ATHLETE IN COLLEGE.
A PROGRAM IS ESTABLISHED TO TEACH HIGH SCHOOL AGE BOYS THE IMPORTANCE OF ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND OF MOVING ON TO HIGHER EDUCATION IN COLLEGE. BASEBALL IS USED AS THE INCENTIVE TO HELP BOYS PREPARE AND PLAN FOR COLLEGE. OVER 80% OF GRADUATING PLAYERS ACCOMPLISHED THE GOAL OF MOVING ON TO PLAY COLLEGE BASEBALL AT SOME LEVEL. THE REVENUES AND EXPENSES OF THIS PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE COMBINED WITH ACCOMPLISHMENT 1, BECAUSE EVERY ASPECT OF THIS IS INCORPORATED INTO THE BASEBALL TRAINING PROGRAM.
THE ST. LOUIS GAMERS WORKED WITH USA BASEBALL TO DEVELOP AND COACH PLAYERS FROM THE MIDWEST TO POTENTIALLY COMPETE AT THE USA BASEBALL TRAINING COMPLEX AND MAKE THE USA NATIONAL TEAMS PLAYERS WERE 12 TO 17 YEARS OLD FROM MISSOURI ARKANSAS OKLAHOMA KANSAS AND NEBRASKA THIS INCLUDED NUMBER OF EVENTS IN AUGUST 2014 AND JULY 2015 OVER 30 PLAYERS PARTICIPATED IN THE PROCESS ACROSS THE MIDWEST REGION
