SINCE ITS INCEPTION IN 1998, THE ORGANIZATION HAS CONTRIBUTED 38,627,000 TO BREAST CANCER RESEARCH THROUGH SIX MAJOR ENDOWMENTS TO THE IU SCHOOL OF MEDICINE TO SUPPORT THE VERA BRADLEY CHAIR IN ONCOLOGY AND TO ESTABLISH THE VERA BRADLEY FOUNDATION CENTER FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH. THE VERA BRADLEY FOUNDATION CENTER HOUSES A MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM FOCUSED ON GENETIC RESEARCH. THIS DATA COULD LEAD TO EARLIER BREAST CANCER DIAGNOSIS AND MORE EFFECTIVE TREATMENTS AND THERAPIES.
