INDEPENDENT EVALUATIONS OF YOUTH FIRST'S PROGRAMS AND SERVICES SHOW PARTICIPANTS EXPERIENCE MEASURABLE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE RISK AND PROTECTIVE FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND RELATED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CONCERNS THAT INTERFERE WITH SCHOOL AND LIFE SUCCESS. YOUTH FIRST PROVIDED PREVENTION PROGRAMS FOR OVER 181,480 INDIVIDUALS AT 405 SITES AND 78 SOCIAL WORKERS IN 107 SCHOOLS IN VANDERBURGH, WARRICK, GIBSON, POSEY, PIKE, MARTIN, DAVIESS, ORANGE, MONROE,MORGAN, DUBOIS AND PERRY COUNTIES.
