CAMPTOWN, INC. (ORGANIZATION) IS AN INDIANAPOLIS BASED NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO SERVING YOUTH IN CENTRAL INDIANA THROUGH OUTDOOR ADVENTURE AND NATURE PROGRAMS. CAMPTOWN PARTNERS WITH YOUTH SERVING ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE CUSTOM PROGRAMMING TO HELP TEACH VALUABLE SKILLS AND LESSONS TO THE YOUTH INVOLVED. PARTNERS INCLUDE SCHOOLS, CHURCHES, COMMUNITY CENTERS, BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS, PARKS DEPARTMENTS AND MORE. CAMPTOWN WORKS PRIMARILY WITH YOUTH IN MARION COUNTY WHO ARE EXPERIENCING POVERTY AND OTHER BARRIERS. IN 2021, IN SPITE OF COVID-19 IMPOSED AND VOLUNTARY RESTRICTIONS, CAMPTOWN WAS ABLE TO SAFELY SERVE OVER 3,100 UNDUPLICATED YOUTH FROM OVER 60 DIFFERENT YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS. CAMPTOWN PROVIDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO A MAJORITY OF PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS, WITH A MAJORITY OF PARTICIPANTS COMING FROM IMPOVERISHED HOMES.
