THE TASK FORCE PROVIDES INFORMATION ON HIV PREVENTION AND CARE TO EDUCATE INDIVIDUALS WHO MAY BE AT RISK; ALSO PROVIDES COUNSELING AND SUPPORT SERVICES FOR CLIENTS WHO ARE HIV POSITIVE. HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH AIDS (HOPWA) PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO 76 CLIENTS AND DIRECT EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE (DEFA) PROVIDED BENEFITS FOR 41 CLIENTS.
