THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES GRANTS TO USA GYMNASTICS, ITS SUPPORTED ORGANIZATION, TO SUPPORT ITS EFFORTS IN OPERATING AS THE NATIONAL GOVERNING BODY FOR THE SPORT OF GYMNASTICS AND TO ACCOMPLISH ITS MISSION OF BUILDING A COMMUNITY AND CULTURE OF HEALTH, SAFETY AND EXCELLENCE WHERE ATHLETES CAN THRIVE IN SPORT AND IN LIFE. THE FOUNDATION ALSO PROVIDES GRANTS TO (I) ATHLETES FOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING PURPOSES, AND (II) TO SUPPORT CONTINUATION AND INITIATION OF COLLEGIATE GYMNASTICS PROGRAMS TO PROMOTE THE SPORT OF GYMNASTICS IN FURTHERANCE OF USA GYMNASTICS PURPOSES.
