THE FOUNDATION DEVELOPS AND DISTRIBUTES EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, SPONSORS CONTINUING EDUCATION SEMINARS PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL CREDIT HOURS TO THE ATTENDEES. DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR THERE WERE 3,516 ATTENDEES AT THE VARIOUS CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS.
RHODE ISLAND INSTITUTE FOR LABOR STUDIES AND RESEARCH, A 501(C)3) ENTITY. DONATION IS FOR YOUTH AND IMMIGRANT OUTREACH PROGRAMS WHICH WILL BE CONDUCTED IN COOPERATION WITH THE RHODE ISLAND WORKERS COMPSENSATION COURT.
KIDS CHANCE, INC. OF TENNESSEE, A 501(C)(3) ENTITY. THIS DONATION GOES TOWARDS FUNDING SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CHILDREN OF WORKERS WHO HAVE LOST THEIR LIVES OR BECAME PERMANENTLY DISABLED BY A JOB RELATED INJURY OR ILLNESS THAT IS COVERED BY WORKERS, COMPENSATION LAWS.
