THE SEYMOUR OKTOBERFEST DREW APPROXIMATELY 100,000 FESTIVAL GOERS IN 2021. PEOPLE ARE DRAWN TO THE LOCAL FESTIVAL BY THE GERMAN FOOD, THE FESTIVE ATMOSPHERE, AND THE FREE MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT. THE PEOPLE COME TO ENJOY AND EXPERIENCE THE BAVARIAN-THEME ACTIVITIES CELEBRATING THE GERMAN HERITAGE OF MANY OF THE FAMILIES OF JACKSON COUNTY. MANY LOCAL NOT-FOR-PROFIT GROUPS PARTICIPATE IN THE THREE-DAY FESTIVAL IN ORDER TO PROMOTE THEIR ORGANIZATION AND TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THEIR PARTICULAR CHARITIES.
