RESTORATION PROGRAM - RESTORATION OF ARCHITECTURALLY SIGNIFICANT STRUCTURES FOR THE EDUCATION AND ECONOMIC BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY.


COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAMS - WALKING AND BUS TOURS OF DOWNTOWN FORT WAYNE AND HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT NEIGHBORHOODS; SELF-GUIDED HERITAGE TRAIL; WINTER LECTURE SERIES; NEW LUNCH AT ARCH PROGRAM FOR MEMBERS TO MEET AND TALK WITH HISTORIC PRESERVATION LEADERS AND EXPERTS; CUSTOM TOURS FOR CLASSROOM AND OTHER GROUPS; ANNUAL HISTORIC HOME TOUR OF A HISTORIC NEIGHBORHOOD, AND PROMOTE HISTORIC PRESERVATION OPPORTUNITIES IN COMMUNITIES THAT ARE SERVED. THESE PROGRAMS SERVED APPROXIMATELY 1,295 PEOPLE, NOT INCLUDING THOSE WHO USED THE SELF-GUIDED HERITAGE TRAIL.


ADVOCACY PROGRAMS PROMOTE THE VALUE TO PROPERTY OWNERS AND THE COMMUNITY OF PRESERVING HISTORIC PLACES AND FINDING NEW USES FOR THEM.
