BELIEVING IN THE DIGNITY OF ALL PEOPLE, OUR OBJECTIVE IS TO ASSIST IN ESTABLISHING A COMMUNITY IN WHICH THOSE WE SERVE CAN MAINTAIN THEIR INDEPENDENCE TO THE MAXIMUM DEGREE POSSIBLE.

ENERGY ASSISTANCE-HELPS INCOME ELIGIBLE HOUSEHOLDS WITH THEIR HEATING EXPENSES DURING THE WINTER MONTHS. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES A CREDIT ON A FAMILY'S GAS AND/OR ELECTRIC BILL. 10,430 HOUSEHOLDS FAMILIES WERE ASSISTED IN A FIVE-COUNTY AREA.


CASE MANAGEMENT - PROVIDES A VARIETY OF NEEDS ASSESSMENTS AND CARE PLANS THAT ALLOW OLDER AND DISABLED PERSONS TO RECEIVE ASSISTANCE. 20,380 FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS WERE PROVIDED WITH INFORMATION AND RESOURCES TO STRENGTHEN THEIR LIVES.


COVID-19. WE PROVIDED MULTIPLE PROGRAMS TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES DURING THE ECONOMIC CONTRACTION AND SOCIAL RESTRICTIONS CAUSED BY THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. 350 PEOPLE IN THE REGION AFFECTED BY COVID-19 WERE PROVIDED RENT ASSISTANCE. WE DELIVERED 14,000 BOXES OF FOOD TO LOW-INCOME SENIORS IN ST. JOSEPH AND ELKHART COUNTIES.
