TIMBERCREST IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE SENIOR SERVICES BY PROVIDING RENTAL HOUSING, RELATED FACILITIES, AND HEALTH CARE SERVICES. THE FACILITIES INCLUDE ASSISTED-LIVING AND INDEPENDENT LIVING APARTMENTS, AS WELL AS, HEALTHCARE CENTER FACILITIES. CHARITY CARE IS PROVIDED TO RESIDENTS WHO HAVE EXHAUSTED THEIR RESOURCES. DURING 2014, TIMBERCREST ENTERED INTO AN ARRANGEMENT WHEREBY THE LICENSED RESIDENTIAL CARE FACILITY AND LICENSED SKILLED NURSING FACILITY AND THE ASSOCIATED REVENUES WERE TRANSFERRED TO WOODLAWN HOSPITAL. AS PART OF THE ARRANGEMENT, THERE IS A SHIFT FROM RESIDENTIAL AND NURSING SERVICE REVENUE TO MANAGEMENT SERVICE REVENUE. THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF CHARITABLE ASSISTANCE PROVIDED BY WOODLAWN HOSPITAL, UNDER THE AFOREMENTIONED ARRANGEMENT, WAS $1,774,000 DURING THE YEAR.
