ST. JOSEPH COUNTY FARM BUREAU, INC. PROMOTES AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION BY HOSTING A BOOTH AT AG DAYS. THE BOOTH PROVIDES INFORMATION ABOUT FARM PRODUCTS IN THEIR RAW STATE AND WHAT THOSE PRODUCTS ARE MADE INTO. WE HAVE GRAINS FOR PEOPLE TO SEE AND TOUCH AND FOOD PRODUCTS THAT ARE MADE FROM THOSE GRAINS. THERE IS ALSO INFORMATION ON FARM SAFETY. VOLUNTEERS ARE ABLE TO INTERACT WITH THE PUBLIC AND EDUCATE THEM ABOUT AGRICULTURE AND WHERE THEIR FOOD COMES FROM. OVER THREE DAYS, OVER 4,000 MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC ATTEND AG DAYS.
