THE DEKALB CHAMBER PARTNERSHIP IS ORGANIZED TO BE A CATALYST AND CONVENOR, DRIVING BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY GROWTH IN DEKALB COUNTY. THE ORGANIZATION WORKS TO CONNECT BUSINESS, EDUCATION AND THE COMMUNITY, ULTIMATELY CREATING AN ENJOYABLE PLACE TO LIVE, WORK AND PLAY.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED MANY OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS AND THE COMMUNITY TO INTERACT AND DEVELOP RELATIONSHIP. EVENTS INCLUDED: 1) AN ANNUAL MEETING TO RECOGNIZE VARIOUS BUSINESSES AND INDIVIDUALS WITH AWARDS FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND PERFORMANCE. BUSINESS AWARDS INCLUDE LARGE BUSINESS, SMALL BUSINESS, NON PROFIT AND EDUCATION. INDIVIDUAL AWARDS INCLUDE YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, CITIZENSHIP, AND EDUCATOR AWARDS. 2) LEADERCAST EVENTS WHERE SEVERAL LOCAL LEADERS SPEAK ON VARIOUS TOPICS IMPORTANT TO THE CURRENT BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT. ONE LEADERCASE EVENT IS FOR WOMEN WHILE THE OTHER EVENT IS FOR ALL INDIVIDUALS. 3) MEET AND GREET OPPORTUNITIES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE ON A MONTHLY BUSINESS TO ALLOW AN INDIVIDUAL BUSINESS TO OPEN THEIR DOORS TO OTHER MEMBERS FOR INFORMATION AND SOCIALIZATION. 4) THE ORGANIZATION ALSO HAS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL OUTREACH FOR YOUNG PROFESSIONALS AGES 18-39.
