COPYEDITING AND PUBLISHING COPYEDITING AND BOOK REVIEW EDITOR TO MONITOR SOCIETY ACTIVITIES AD MAILINGS. THE SOCIETY GIVES TRAVEL GRANTS AND AWARDS TO QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS TO ATTEND VARIOUS SOCIETY PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES. THE SOCIETY PRESENTS THE GRANTS AND AWARDS TO INDIVIDUALS FOR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE HISTORY OF TECHNOLOGY AND ITS CULTURAL RELATIONS. NOMINATIONS ARE SUBMITTED BY MEMBERS. AWARDS ARE DETERMINED USING A MAJORITY VOTE OF THE AWARDS COMMITTEE AND ALLOW THE INDIVIDUALS TO ATTEND THE SOCIETY'S PROGRAMS.
