TO CONNECT CHAMPAIGN COUNTY BY PROMOTING OUR MEMBERS AND INSPIRING COLLABORATION BY OFFERING RESOURCES AND OPPORTUNITIES TO ENHANCE OUR COMMUNITY.

SAFETY COUNCIL: GOAL IS TO PROVIDE IMPORTANT, SAFETY & WELLNESS INFORMATION IN MONTHLY SESSIONS FOR OUR MEMBERS, WITH THE GOAL OF REDUCING ACCIDENTS & CLAIMS AND CREATING BWC PREMIUM SAVINGS & DISCOUNTS FOR EMPLOYERS. MONTHLY CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS IN WORK PLACE SAFETY ARE OFFERED TO AREA BUSINESSES. PARTICIPATION QUALIFIES BUSINESSES FOR REDUCTIONS IN WORKERS COMPENSATION PREMIUMS. DURING THE YEAR, BWC DID NOT GIVE ANY DISCOUNTS, DUE TO BWC REFUNDS GIVEN DIRECTLY TO THE COMPANIES. MONTHLY SAFETY COUNCIL SESSIONS WERE STILL HELD FOR MEMBERS.


LEADERSHIP PROGRAM: THE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM IS A LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF THE CHAMBER. THE PROGRAM AIMS TO CONNECT PARTICIPANTS WITH DIVERSE SECTORS AND LEADERS OF OUR COMMUNITY AND TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH PARTICIPANTS CAN NETWORK AND DISCOVER THEIR PASSIONS, IN ORDER TO FIND WAYS TO BEST SERVE OUR COMMUNITY AS LEADERS.


SEMINARS: BUSINESS SEMINARS ARE OFFERED PERIODICALLY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR FOR MEMBER BUSINESSES ON A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL TOPICS RELATED TO ENTEPRENEURIAL BUSINESS FEATURING INVITED SPEAKERS.
