ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT PROGRAM- INTENSIVE EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVE PROVIDING CLEVELANDS YOUTH, AGES 8-14, WITH TUTORING, DIGITAL LITERACY, AND CHARACTER TRAINING. IN 2021: SERVED 395 PARTICIPANTS THROUGH A PORTFOLIO OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICES- FOCUSED ON MATH & LITERACY. ENGAGED 200+ STUDENTS WITH ENRICHMENT WORKSHOPS INCLUDING: STEM PROJECTS, ART THERAPY, HEALTH & WELLNESS TRAINING, AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP. SERVED 240 STUDENTS IN CLEVELAND SCHOOLS, AND 117 WITH OUT-OF-SCHOOL TIME PROGRAMMING.
SCRANTON RD. LEGAL CLINIC- PROVIDING UNDER-SERVED CLEVELAND RESIDENTS WITH CRITICAL LEGAL SERVICES SO THEY CAN MAKE INFORMED AND PRUDENT LEGAL DECISIONS. IN 2021, WE SERVED 489 FAMILIES: PROVIDED 361 FAMILIES WITH PERSONALIZED BRIEF ADVICE INFORMATIONAL SERVICES AND 128 LEGAL EDUCATION WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS; BOTH IN-PERSON AND VIRTUALLY. TOPICS FOR BOTH INCLUDE FAMILY LAW, ELDER LAW, LANDLORD/TENANT, CONSUMER LAW, POAS, EXPUNGEMENT, PARENTAL & CUSTODIAL, CREDITOR/DEBTOR, ETC.
YOUTH JOBS PARTNERSHIP- COLLABORATIVE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE THAT PROVIDES CLEVELANDS YOUNG ADULTS, AGES 15-22, WITH COMPREHENSIVE CAREER PATHWAYS SERVICES, INCLUDING PROFESSIONAL SKILLS, CAREER & COLLEGE PREPARATION, FINANCIAL & DIGITAL LITERACY, PERSONALIZED COACHING & MENTORING, ETC. IN 2021: PROVIDED 348 STUDENTS WITH BEST-PRACTICE TRAINING, AND 70 STUDENTS WITH SUPPORTIVE SERVICES (INCLUDING COLLEGE & WORKSITE VISITS AND TUTORING) AND CAREER COACHING. 91% OF YJP ADVANCED TRAINING STUDENTS GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL AND TRANSITIONED INTO APPROPRIATE NEXT-STEP OPPORTUNITIES
