IN JUNE 2021 NAAC HELD A CONVENTION IN CONJUNCTION WITH CONVENTIONS HELD BY EIGHT OTHER GROUPS OF COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC ADMINISTRATORS. 73 MEMBERS AND NONMEMBERS AROUND THE COUNTRY MET VIRTUALLY TO DISCUSS CURRENT ISSUES IN ATHLETIC COMPLIANCE, ATTEND PRESENTATIONS AND ELECT OFFICERS.
NAAC SPONSORS A CERTIFICATION PROGRAM WHEREBY PROFESSIONALS RECEIVE TRAINING THAT REINFORCES THE CORE COMPETENCIES NECESSARY TO DEVELOP AN ETHICAL, INTEGRITY-BASED COMPLIANCE PROGRAM. SUCCESSFUL PARTICIPANTS ARE RECOGNIZED AS HAVING A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF CURRENT NCAA LEGISLATION, ITS APPLICATION, AND AVAILABLE RESOURCES. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES ACCESSS TO BEST PRACTICES AND ASSOCIATION-APPROVED REASONABLE STANDARDS.
