TRAVEL SOCCER HUDSON UNITED IS A COMMUNITY-BASED, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WITH A COMPREHENSIVE RANGE OF SOCCER PROGRAMS. HUDSON UNITED OFFERS GIRLS AND BOYS AGES 7 TO 14 THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN TRAVEL TEAMS THAT COMPETE IN LEAGUES AND TOURNAMENTS IN THE GREATER AKRON AND CLEVELAND AREAS. HUDSON UNITED IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING A COMPETITIVE, EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT THAT EMPHASIZES PLAYER DEVELOPMENT, SPORTSMANSHIP, COMMUNITY REPRESENTATION AND PERSONAL GROWTH. OUR COACHING STAFF CONSISTS OF LICENSED PROFESSIONALS.

IT IS A SIX STAGE PROGRAM DESIGNED TO GIVE PLAYERS WEEKLY COACHING INSTRUCTION IN THE FORM OF FUN, SOCCER-RELATED GAMES AND GAME PLAY. STAGE 1 BALL SKILLS. STAGE 2 PASSING AND RECEIVING. STAGE 3 BASIC TACTICS. STAGE 4 FOOTSKILLS. STAGE 5 DEFENDING AND GOALKEEPING. STAGE 6 ADVANCED TACTICS. ALL SIX STAGES ARE TAUGHT IN THE SAME MANNER: A FUN PRACTICE SESSION WHERE THE DRILL TEACHES THE SKILL, FOLLOWED BY A GAME WHERE WE WILL BE SEEING THE LESSONS OF THE STAGE SLOWLY BEING INCORPORATED. IT IS THE GOAL OF L2P, TO MOVE ALL PLAYERS THROUGH ALL SIX OF OUR STAGES OF PLAYER DEVELOPMENT. THEN, THEY WILL HAVE AN EXCELLENT FOUNDATION FOR THE NEXT LEVEL OF PLAYER DEVELOPMENT. HUSC RECREATIONAL SOCCER IS A LEAGUE OF TEAMS COMPRISED OF CHILDREN FROM KINDERGARTEN THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL WHO LIVE IN OR NEAR HUDSON. THE TEAMS ARE COACHED BY PARENTS.
