BOOSTERS PURPOSE IS TO RAISE MONIES ANY WAY PERMUTABLE BY LAW IN ORDER TO PROMOTE ANS SUPPORT ALL AVON LAKE ATHLETIC PROGRAMS AND TO ENCOURAGE AND STIMULATE CITIZEN INTEREST AND PARTICIPATION IN AND SUPPORT OF COMMUNITY AMATURE SCHOLASTIC ATHLETICS

THE BOOSTERS ORGINIZATION USES ITS PROFITS TO PROVIDE ITEMS TO THE ATHLETIC PROGRAMS AT BOTH THE HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL. THIS FISCAL YEAR, THOSE ITEMS INCLUDED FUNDS TO PROVIDE SOUND SYSTEMS, PORTABLE TENTS, BLEACHERS, WALL PADDING, VOLLEYBALL NETS WITH PADDING, STANDS, POLES, AND SLEEVES, NEW MIDDLE SCHOOL SCOREBOARD INSTALLATION, LIFT TREADMILL, BARBELL HYPER KITS, AND UNIFORMS. ADDITIONAL CONTRIBUTIONS INCLUDED HOCKEY HELMETS, BOWLING UNIFORMS, VOLLEYBALL EQUIPMENT, BOYS SOCCER BALLS & SCOREBOOKS, GIRLS SOCCER BALLS & SCOREBOOKS, GIRLS SOCCER UNIFORMS, FOOTBALL EQUIPMENT, BOYS BASKETBALL EQUIPMENT, TENNIS EQUIPMENT, HOCKEY BAGS, GIRLS WRESTLING UNIFORMS, WRESTLING EQUIPMENT, GIRLS BASKETBALL EQUIPMENT, SOFTBALL EQUIPMENT, TRACK AND FIELD UNIFORMS, BOYS LACROSSE EQUIPMENT, BASEBALL EQUIPMENT, SOFTBALL UNIFORMS, BOYS LACROSSE UNIFORMS, FOOTBALL HELMET REPLACEMENTS, TENNIS EQUIPMENT. THE BOOSTERS CONTINUE TO PROVIDE T3 PROFESSIONAL ONSITE ATHELTIC TRRAINERS FOR ALL ATHLETES AT NO COST TO THE SCHOOL NOR THE STUDENTS. $3000/MO IS 100% COVERED BY THE BOOSTERS


THE BOOSTERS ISSUES $1500 SCHOLARSHIPS TO 10 INDIVIDUALS EVERY YEAR. THESE STUDENTS SUBMIT APPLICATIONS AND MEET ALL THE REQUIRED CRITERIA TO BE ELGIBLE. A SCORNING SYSTEM USING NO NAMES IS ADMINISTERED BY AN IMPARTIAL THIRD PARTY TO DETERMINE WINNERS. THE CRITERIA INCLUDES CLUBS, ACADEMIC, AND ATHLETIC ACHIEVEMENTS, WITH A WEIGHTING TOWARDS ATHLETICS. THESE CHECKS ISSUED AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR ONCE ALL SPORTS ARE COMPLETED AND DEPOSITED BY THE STUDENTS
