TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR HOMELESS ADULTS AND CHILDREN DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2021, THE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM PROVIDED STRUCTURED SERVICES AND A STABLE LIVING ENVIRONMENT IN ASHTABULA COUNTY IN OHIO FOR 18 ADULTS AND 23 CHILDREN. 72% WERE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND 70% WERE RECOVERING FROM SUBSTANCE ABUSE. 100% WERE ABLE TO MOVE TO PERMANENT HOUSING.
PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING FOR HOMELESS ADULTS AND CHILDREN OFFERED RENTAL ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORTIVE CARE PROGRAM WHERE AT LEAST ONE MEMBER OF THE HOUSEHOLD HAS A DISABILITY. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2021, THIS PROGRAM PROVIDED STRUCTURED SERVICES AND A STABLE LIVING ENVIRONMENT FOR 46 ADULTS AND 39 CHILDREN. 100% OF THESE HOUSEHOLDS HAD A DISABILITY AND 67% INCREASED THEIR INCOME.
THE URSULINE SISTERS SCHOLARS PROGRAM - THIS PROGRAM PROVIDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, WORKSHOPS AND MENTORING TO HELP LOW-INCOME STUDENTS ACHIEVE A POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION. DURING FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2021, THIS PROGRAM SERVED 55 STUDENTS OF WHICH 58% WERE SINGLE PARENTS. THE PROGRAM HAD AN 89% SUCCESS RATE AND 9 GRADUATES. THE PROGRAM ALSO HELPS STUDENTS FOR 6 MONTHS POST-GRADUATION.
