THE SISTERS OF CHARITY OF ST. AUGUSTINE HEALTH SYSTEM (SCHS) IS THE PARENT CORPORATION OF THE SPONSORED MINISTRIES OF THE SISTERS OF CHARITY OF ST. AUGUSTINE, A CONGREGATION OF WOMEN RELIGIOUS DEDICATED TO SERVING THE POOR AND COMMITTED TO SOCIAL JUSTICE.

SISTERS OF CHARITY HEALTH SYSTEM (SCHS) CARRIES OUT ITS PURPOSE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MORAL TEACHINGS AND CANON LAW OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH. THROUGH ITS EFFORTS, SCHS CONTINUES TO ADVANCE THE PHILOSOPHY AND MISSION OF OUR FOUNDERS, THE SISTERS OF CHARITY OF ST. AUGUSTINE. SCHS PROVIDES GOVERNANCE, OVERSIGHT, MISSION COORDINATION AND OTHER SUPPORT SERVICES TO ITS MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS AS WELL AS MANAGEMENT OF ALL AFFILIATES TO ENSURE POLICY DECISIONS ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE ENTITIES TAX EXEMPT PURPOSE. THE CONSOLIDATED ASSETS OF THE HEALTH SYSTEM AND AFFILIATED TOTAL $348,328,000 WITH TOTAL REVENUE OF $91,953,000 IN 2023.
