TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES OF HUMANE TREATMENT OF ANIMALS AND TO CREATE A QUALITY ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL ANIMALS THROUGH ITS POLICIES AND PRESENCE IN THE COMMUNITY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

SHELTER OPERATIONS PROVIDE GENERAL MEDICAL SERVICES, VACCINATIONS, FOOD AND SHELTER FOR ALL ANIMALS. PROVIDE VETERINARY SERVICES, AS NEEDED, FOR SICK ANIMALS. 248 DOGS AND 399 CATS WERE ADOPTED AT THE SHELTER. THIS WAS FROM 260 TOTAL DOGS RECEIVED BY THE ORGANIZATION. FOR CATS, 435 WERE RECEIVED BY THE ORGANIZATION.


CRUELTY CASES INVESTIGATED INVOLVED AN ASSORTMENT OF DOMESTIC AND FARM ANIMALS. CONSULTED/WORKED WITH LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES TO BRING CLOSURE TO CASES. 243 CASES WERE INVESTIGATED AND 238 CASES WERE CLOSED THERE WERE 67 EDUCATION, 154 UNFOUNDED 13 RESULTED IN PRESSING CHARGES. DIRECT HOME VISITS ARE IMPLEMENTED AS RESPONSE TO COMPLAINT CALLS. ADDITIONALLY, EDUCATION IS PROVIDED TO THE PUBLIC ABOUT PROPER ANIMAL CARE.


THE SNIP PROGRAM PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO LOCAL ANIMAL WELFARE GROUPS, GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES AND PET OWNERS. SERVICE ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED TO OVER 502 ANIMALS FOR 2021.
