DESPITE THE CONTINUED PANDEMIC-RELATED CHALLENGES, WE WELCOMED OVER 600 VISITORS, OVER 1,000 IN-PERSON PROGRAM ATTENDEES, AND OVER 250 VIRTUAL PROGRAM ATTENDEES, SIGNIFICANT INCREASES THAT REACHED OR SURPASSED PRE- PANDEMIC NUMBERS. SHS ALSO WELCOMED EIGHT K-12 AND HIGHER EDUCATION TOUR GROUPS, BOTH SIGNIFICANT INCREASES FROM 2022 THAT HAVE STRENGTHENED RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES. THE SOCIETY COLLECTS AND PRESERVES THE COMMUNITYS HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS AND FREQUENTLY COLLABORATES WITH THE CITY OF SHAKER HEIGHTS, OHIO AND THE SHAKER HEIGHTS PUBLIC LIBRARY TO PRESERVE AND SHARE LOCAL HISTORY.
