THE PURPOSE OF THE CHAMBER IS TO IDENTIFY AND ADDRESS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES, TO OFFER SERVICES AND BENEFITS TO HELP MEMBERS ACHIEVE THEIR BUSINESS GOALS, AND TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP ON KEY ISSUES THAT IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF COMMUNITY LIFE.

EVENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR 2022 INCLUDED THE COORDINATION OF THREE SIGNATURE EVENTS (1.)STATE OF THE CHAMBER ANNUAL MEETING, 2.)CELEBRATION OF COMMUNITY AWARDS DINNER, 3.)CHAMBER GOLF PAR-TEE OUTING). IN ADDITION, THE ORRVILLE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FACILITATED 15 ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSIONS FOR MEMBER INTEREST AREAS INCLUDING: HUMAN RESOURCES, MARKETING, WOMEN IN BUSINESS, AND HEALTH AND WELLNESS. THESE WERE HELD IN-PERSON. THE CHAMBER ALSO SERVED OUR MEMBERS BY CELEBRATING RIBBON CUTTINGS, OPEN HOUSES, MEMBER UPDATE LUNCHEONS, NETWALK WITH THE CHAMBER AND MEMBER APPRECIATION EVENTS.
THE ORRVILLE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OFFICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDED PROVIDING ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT FOR 350 CHAMBER MEMBER BUSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS. THE GLUEUP MEMBER MANAGEMENT PORTAL PROVIDED MEMBERS ACCESS TO MANAGE THEIR MEMBER ACCOUNTS, REGISTER FOR EVENTS, SUBSCRIBE TO EMAIL NEWSLETTERS AND PARTICIPATE IN THE ONLINE MEMBER COMMUNITY. A VARIETY OF MEMBER BENEFITS ARE PROVIDED INCLUDING GROUP HEALTH INSURANCE, GROUP RATING AND GROUP RETRO CLAIMS MANAGEMENT, DISCOUNTED ACCOUNTING & PAYROLL SOFTWARE, DISCOUNTED OFFICE SUPPLIES, SAFETY TRAINING AND COMPLIANCE PROGRAMS, AND A SUITE OF SERVICES SUPPORTING WOMEN IN BUSINESS.

SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS THE CHAMBER ACTIVELY PARTICIPATED ON INCLUDED FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, LINKED IN AND YOUTUBE.
