THE AUXILIARY VOLUNTEERED OVER 6,300 HOURS OF SERVICE TO THE HOSPITAL IN THE RETURN YEAR AT A COST SAVINGS OF 211,000. IN 2023, THE AUXILIARY PROVIDES FUNDS FOR THE PATIENT ADVOCATE CART OFFERING PATIENTS THERAPEUTIC COLORING AND JOURNALING SUPPLIES, PHONE CHARGERS, READING GLASSES, CROSSWORD PUZZELS AND MAGAZINES. THE AUXILIARY ALSO PROVIDES FUNDS FOR PATIENT ACTIVITIES IN THE HOSPITALS GER-PSYCIATRIC UNIT SUCH AS COOKING SUPPLIES, DOLLS AND CRAFTS.
EACH YEAR THE AUXILIARY ASSISTS ALLIANCE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL WITH CAPITAL EXPENDITURES SUCH AS MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND OTHER CURRENT NEEDS. IN 2023, THE AUXILIARY PROVIDED FUNDS FOR THE HOSPITALS PATIENT WAITING AREA, AN MRI MONITORING SYSTEM, AND NUTRITIONAL SERVICES EQUIPMENT.
