THE INTERNATIONAL ANESTHESIA RESEARCH (IARS) IS A NONPOLITICAL, NOT-FOR-PROFIT MEDICAL SOCIETY FOUNDED IN 1922 TO ADVANCE AND SUPPORT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND EDUCATION RELATED TO ANESTHESIA, AND TO IMPROVE PATIENT CARE THROUGH RESEARCH.
