THE NODCC HAS BECOME THE LEADING NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR THE DISORDERS OF THE CORPUS CALLOSUM AND IS DEDICATED TO RAISING THE PROFILE, UNDERSTANDING AND ACCEPTANCE OF THESE DISORDERS THROUGH EDUCATION, NETWORKING, ADVOCACY AND BEING A CATALYST FOR RESEARCH.

THE NODCC HAS SEVERAL OUTREACH PROGRAMS TO HELP RAISE THE AWARENESS AND IMPROVE EDUCATION AMONG THE STAKEHOLDERS IN THE COMMUNITY. WE HOST EDUCATIONAL EXHIBITS AT 4 PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL CONFERENCES & HOST 36 MONTHLY VIRTUAL MEETINGS FOR PARENTS/CAREGIVERS AND ADULTS WITH DCC IN OUR COMMUNITY.


THE NODCC IS DEEPLY COMMITTED TO IMPROVING THE LIVES OF THOSE AFFECTED BY A DISORDER OF THE CORPUS CALLOSUM BY PROVIDING DIRECT SUPPORT AS WELL AS EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES IN COLLABORATION WITH A WIDE RANGE OF STAKEHOLDERS TO RAISE AWARENESS AND KNOWLEDGE. IN 2023, NODCC STAFF PROVIDED ONE ON ONE SUPPORT THROUGH PHONE CALLS, EMAILS, AND INTERACTIONS ON SOCIAL MEDIA TOTALING OVER 1,200 TOUCHES. WE PROVIDED 62 WELCOME PACKETS TO NEWLY DIAGNOSED FAMILIES. WE MAINTAIN AN INCREASING NUMBER OF RESOURCES ON OUR WEBSITE, BROCHURE, EDUCATIONAL BOOKLET EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE.


THE NODCC CONFERENCE AND REGIONAL MEETINGS ARE A WAY OF PROVIDING SUPPORT AND COMMUNITY TO OUR FAMILIES AFFECTED BY DCC. IN 2023 WE HELD 4 REGIONAL MEETINGS AND BEGAN PLANNING FOR OUR BI-ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN 2024.
