EDUCATIONAL SERVICES - THE ASSOCIATION PROMOTES EDUCATION IN THE SPECIALTY OF HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE NURSING THROUGH ON-LINE LEARNING COURSES, THE WEBSITE, EDUCATIONAL PRODUCTS, MONTHLY NEWSLETTERS, NATIONAL/LOCAL CONFERENCES, AND THE ASSOCIATION'S JOURNAL OF HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE NURSING.
MEMBERSHIP SERVICES - TO PROMOTE EXCELLENCE IN HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE NURSING BY PROVIDING A PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP IN A NATIONAL ORGANIZATION. THIS ORGANIZATION DETERMINES THE SCOPE AND STANDARD OF HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE NURSING CARE PRACTICES, POSITION STATEMENTS, PROVIDES NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, ADVOCACY AND ALL THE EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THE HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE NURSING SPECIALTY.

THE CHAPTERS OPERATE UNDER THE OVERSIGHT AND DIRECTION FROM THE ASSOCIATION. DURING 2021, THE ASSOCIATION HAD 43 CHAPTERS AND 2,500 MEMBERS WITHIN THOSE CHAPTERS, WHICH ALLOWS EDUCATIONAL AND NETOWRKING OPPORTUNITIES AT THE LOCAL LEVEL.
