TRAINED THE 300+ WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS IN OUR TIE DYE ASSOCIATION ABOUT SUSTAINABLE DYEING TECHNIQUES IN A FOUR-DAY WORKSHOP IN KINDIA, GUINEA BY COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY AND FIT PROFESSOR AND PHOTOGRAPHER VOLUNTEER. THE WORKSHOP IS FEATURED IN FOLDING CHAIR JOURNAL 2. CARRIED OUT TINLF'S ANNUAL BREAK THE SILENCE WEEK ENGAGEMENTS IN THE VARIOUS COMMUNITIES WE WORK IN 3. COMMEMORATED INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY WITH YOUNG PEOPLE IN CONAKRY 4. UNDERTOOK OUR ANNUAL #16DAYSOFACTIVISM ON HUMAN RIGHTS CAMPAIGN IN THE VARIOUS COMMUNITIES WE WORK IN UNITED STATES 1. CAMPAIGNED WITH FELLOW PARTNERS TO ENSURE THAT THE GENERATION EQUALITY FORUM COALITION LEADERS PRIORITIZE ENDING CHILD MARRIAGE AND FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION 4. TINLF ENDORSED THE CHILD MARRIAGES IN THE UNITED STATES ACT OF 2020 TO STUDY CHILD MARRIAGES IN THE UNITED STATES 5. PARTNERED WITH THE AFRICAN UNION YOUTH ENVOY TO KICK OFF THE 75TH UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY THAT WAS VIRTUAL WITH AN INTERGENERATIONAL DIALOGUE. PRESIDENT OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, H.E. TIJJANI MUHAMMAD-BANDEHE GAVE KEYNOTE REMARKS AT THE EVENT. 6. LAUNCHED "ACHIEVING THE SDGS DURING COVID19" CAMPAIGN DURING THE UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO SHOWCASE HOW ACTIVISTS AROUND THE WORLD CONTINUE TO WORK TO ACHIEVE THE SDGS. 7. COMMEMORATED THE INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN BY CO-ORGANIZING AN EVENT WITH THE AFRICAN UNION YOUTH ENVOY AND LAUNCHED THE AFRICAN YOUNG WOMEN MANIFESTO. THE MANIFESTO WAS A RESULT OF CONSULTATIONS WITH OVER 1,500 AFRICAN YOUTH FROM 45 COUNTRIES AND IT CONSISTS OF TEN DEMANDS THAT WAS PRESENTED AT GENERATION EQUALITY MEXICO. 8. CONDUCTED OUR ANNUAL #16DAYSOFACTIVISM ONLINE CAMPAIGN 9. AS A FOUNDING MEMBER OF THE GLOBAL PLATFORM FOR ACTION TO END FGM/C, WE PUBLISHED A GLOBAL REPORT ON FGM AND SENT IT TO THE UNITED NATIONS SECRETARY GENERAL ANTONIO GUITERES IN VIEW OF HIS PROGRESS REPORT ON THE PRACTICE THERE IS NO LIMIT INC.
