THIS ORGANIZATION PROVIDED AFFORDABLE HOUSING TO ELDERLY PERSONS THROUGH THE OPERATION OF A 42-UNIT HUD 202 PRAC MULTIFAMILY HOUSING COMMUNITY IN PHOENIX, ARIZONA. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED DECENT, SAFE AND SANITARY HOUSING TO 69 RESIDENTS: 1% UNDER 62; 59% BETWEEN THE AGES 62-81; 39% BETWEEN THE AGES 82-93 AND 1% AGE 94+. HONG LOK EMPLOYS A SERVICE COORDINATOR WHO ASSISTED RESIDENTS WITH OBTAINING A VARIETY OF SOCIAL SERVICES AND REFERRALS. IN 2021, THIS COMMUNITY CONTINUED TO BE IMPACTED BY THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND HAD LIMITED SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND COMMUNITY EVENTS FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE YEAR.
